Complete any 3 activities:

1. Make a logbook or scrapebook to discuss what you have found out about:
   • someone famous who lived in or near your neighbourhood
   • visit and find out about a famous old building, monument, or other place of historical interest
2. Find out the meaning of, and collect pictures of Singapore's coat of arms. Tell the examiner how many different places you have seen the coat of arms displayed.
3. Make a video or audio recording of an interview you conducted with someone who has lived in your area for a long time and find out about what they did at your age, and what changes they have seen in your area over the past years.
4. Choose two different locations in your area such as a road, park, field, hill, lake, stream and find out how they got their names.
5. Draw a map of your area and mark on it places of historical interest for visitors.
6. With your examiner, go on a short walk of your choice in your area and describe to him local points of historical interest.
