The Lateral toggle exists on the Confirmation screen

You will not use this very often (perhaps not at all for the entire season) as it is only for unusual lateral plays that happen beyond the LOS

Its purpose is to quickly identify potential stat discrepancies caused by trick plays, crazy end-of-game plays, etc.

Any lateral behind the LOS is just a run play

You should NEVER use this for pitches on Speed/Triple Options, Reverses, WR/RB Double passes, etc.
