The Players button is the middle left tab of the Banjo footer. Like every tab on the footer, both scouts are able to access and select everything on this screen. However, the Play Scout should be the only one executing any of the three actions below. You can exit this screen by tapping Back or deselecting Players in the Footer.
This will automatically start on In. This toggle is to indicate that the starting QB is literally out of the game. If this is toggled OUT, each play in the play log will have the red QBX notation as seen above
If the QB is IN but lines up wide for a Wildcat formation, leave this as QB IN
If the QB comes out of the game for ANY reason (backup QB package, injury, benched, loses helmet on previous play) this must be toggled OUT
REMEMBER to toggle this back to IN when he comes back into the game
The QB1 switch will remain in its current status until you change it
This is a common mistake that causes scouts to lose points. You MUST be cognizant of him
Tap this button when either team pulls their starters from the game
This will be very obvious because it will only happen in blowouts
Selecting OUT will trigger the confirmation notification above to you and your game supervisor. The text will NOT change
DO NOT use this if the backup RB comes in, the offense is rotating WRs, or if the starting QB is removed from the game. This is ONLY used when ALL (or most) of the starters on either side of the ball are out of the game
DO NOT use this in a bowl game when many key players have opted out
If you forget or need a reminder on the key players for your game, you can select the View Players button, and it will pop up the Player Preview window
This is the same window that you see when you initially open the game
The screenshot above shows the key players from 9/6/2025: Michigan vs Oklahoma
For our purposes, we ONLY care if there are injuries to the key players whose stats we are tracking. Per client request, we will now identify the injured player after selecting the Team Injury button. If one of the 6 key players gets injured during the game (even if it's just a cramp), you should hit Injury > YES. You will never need to worry about an injury to a defensive player.
Selecting Team Injury will trigger the confirmation notification above to you and your game supervisor
From here, you will need to select the player who was injured
If QB1 is injured, you will need to toggle QB OUT after confirming the injury
In the example above, you will need to confirm that Jaydn Ott (#0) was in fact the injured player
If it wasn't him, you can hit Cancel at any time and select a different player (or no one)
