Man I wish I held off on doing my top 10 games of 2019 on my main because I after beating Resident Evil 2, I can say this is the best horror game ever. Take an already classic, genre defining game like RE2 and modernize it, and you have a new classic. As my first RE game, it offered a great story, amazing characters (I want to marry Leon Kennedy), and one of the most scary games I’ve ever played. The entire time I was on the edge, scared of what would happen next. Let me tell you that when you encounter Mr. X/ the Tyrant for the first time, it is horrific. Definitely the scariest, but coolest and mysterious, gaming villains ever. Overall, this is another must play, and I’m super excited to play Claire’s story.
But still, I cannot get over Mr. X. He sucks so much and super scary in the moment, and I love him for that.
