Kitsune

Mischevous and tricky, charming and charismatic, these are the Kitsune. Highly intelligent and modeled after the Nine Tailed Kitsune of the Royal the Kitsune are the singular most rare and elusive race in Seirei no Kuni. Usually they keep to themselves in remote locations in small communities. Otherwise they pose as lesser catfolk in other communities. Kitsune are secretive as people, knowing their connection to the Nine Tailed variants that comprise the Royal Family to cause problems to occur from time to time.

Kitsune all walk upright, have a long tail, large ears, and vertical pupils. They also have nimble fingers with short claws that are retractable. Kitsune take great pains in order to obscure the fact they are Kitsune if they grew up in Kitsune only communities or are raised by Kitsune parents who were. They usually pose as Lesser Catfolk in these situations.

Kitsune mature around the age of 15 and live to be up to 120 years old without difficulty. The oldest known Kitsune was said to have been 250 years of age.
