Yo! I'm Pat. On Discord I'm @Pat#3557. Yup I have the Server Dad tag. Yes I am wearing an orange shirt. I really like the color orange, or burnt orange, or reddish orange like my server color name.

I'm doing this about me section so you guys can get a feel for me as a person before you really have long term exposure to the server, and to know who's really in control of it all. I was born in March in 1992. Yeah I'm pretty old compared to most people that frequent the server. I've been with the same lady since I was 16 and am married with a kiddo, who was born in September of 2018. I've been writing since I was ten, and roleplaying since I was twelve.

Since Diablo 2 came out in the yester years of the June, 2000 I've been running several clans, groups, forums, and such. I even ran a group on Roleplay Haven that had active roleplay for an unbroken streak of one entire week. It's one of my proudest moments.

I actually started my Roleplay in the Open Battle.Net of Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction. From there I moved to Yahoo Instant Messenger and MSN Messenger. After that I went to Meebo where I met who I've always referred to as my RP Sensei. Starye taught me the basic building blocks of character creation I use to this day. After that I went to RPHaven, started the Multirealm Inn (Which still exists as a group called the Multirealm Council that does tabletops) then to RPC(RolePlay Chat) then, as everyone eventually did, bounced to F-list.net. There I learned how to do erotic roleplay, or ERP, to a degree I'm pretty proud of. I haven't had much in the way of that since those days, but after a few years of stewing in the sex pits there I stopped RPing for a little bit, only coming back to answer note based roleplay and RP with my friends I'd made from there. After bestowing the Multirealm Inn onto two really good friends of mine I found myself lost.

Enter discord roleplay. Boy. This was a trip to write, and this is only half the story. First server I joined was a RWBY RP server. I just wanted to be a player and participate. But soon enough I started seeing things I could improve. I provided suggestions and promptly got told to fuck off. So I did what I do and put my money where my mouth was. I started my own RWBY RP server that was called RWBY: A World Apart, or just shortened to those that played in it to AWA. After doing that and gaining upwards of two hundred concurrent members I handed the server off. It was nice having a big community but I wanted something that was mine. One where I didn't have source material holding back the ideas I was having.

Enter Illistari. A slapped together project I'm disappointed in to this day. It was just a magic academy that I did as fast as I could. Lots of stuff happened and I eventually left that project due to lots of stress happening IRL for me. Kysis was the project I worked on next and it's still going strong and I'm super happy with it. It's been in existence since Feb of 2020. After finding success with that I took a small step back from running things directly and started working on Seirei no Kuni, so here we are, with two servers I'm really proud of and what feels like a lifetime of stories and characters lived.

I'm a pretty hands on guy, I like getting down and dirty to help build characters, put stuff together. If I was into cars I'd probably be working on restoring something rather than writing. I really REALLY adore helping people advance their writing ability and character creation skills. My proudest moments are when people I've helped to grow submit a sheet that outpaces mine in every way. I love seeing people pass me in terms of skill, length, and general ability. It makes me happy. I get giddy thinking about how characters can interact and create awesome, unique, stories with other characters.

That being said I'm pretty strict on my rules. What I have listed are pretty basic, easy to follow, and really aren't asking much at all. So when people get pissy about them I start becoming a bit antagonistic. This is, again, because my rules are fairly common sense don't be a dipshit kind of rules. Nothing crazy like worship my ball hairs or anything, just be generally well mannered and conduct yourself like an adult.

So this is me. This is Pat. Kinda laid bare here. If you like me you like me, if you don't you don't. All I really want is for people to have fun and write awesome stories with one another.
