Long ago there was a large pantheon of gods and goddesses headed up by a singular powerful creator God. For reasons unknown seven adventurers set out to kill God itself. They were successful. Upon slaying the divine being these seven adventurers took on a shardic aspect of its power, establishing a new pantheon. Pashok was a human before his ascension. He was known for being passionate but controlled. With Pashok it was always a balancing act every day between his hot nature and doing what he knew needed to be done. Pashok oversees power in its many forms. Those seeking to ascend in political objectives tend to worship Pashok.
Pashok is a god of discipline, brutality, ruthlessness, honor, victory, war, and strength.
Te Wu was an aasimar before his ascension. He was known for being reserved and thinking deeply before acting. Among the group he always cautioned recklessness. Him and Pashok came to near blows many a time, but always worked things out for the betterment of the group. Te Wu oversees mercy in its many forms. Those that seek to atone for sins or help their local communities tend to worship Te Wu.
Te Wu is a god of community, liberation, joy, kindness, truth, purity, self-realization, and light.
Malkor was a tiefling before his ascension. He was known for his somber and quiet nature. Most of the time it was difficult to tell if he was in a room or not because of how quiet he was around his fellows. His personality was always described as grim. Malkor oversees Ruin in its many forms. Those that seek to destroy, decay, or otherwise deconstruct things usually worship Malkor.
Malkor is a god of erosion, destruction, catastrophe, death, murder, plague, darkness, entropy, and freedom.
Lalalaira was a kitsune before her ascension. She was known for her upbeat and cheerful nature, she was always the light of a room whenever she was in it. A motherly individual that sought to improve the lot of everyone she met, she was in a singular word cheery. Lalalaira oversees Growth in its many forms. Those that seek to create new ideas, grow communities, heal others, farm the land, and such tend to worship Lalalaira.

Freed was a lizardfolk before her ascension. She was known for her devious nature and trickery, as well as her ability to invent her way out of nearly any problem. She was also known for a toad that she carried on her head for a reason she never explain to anyone. The toad never willingly left her side either. Freed, if she had to be concentrated to a single phrase, would say, "You've got two good feet, keep walking forward!"
Freed is a god of runes, sealing magic, madness, trickery, invention, knowledge, arson, education, industry, riots, and jaywalking
Bangsha was a catfolk before his ascension. He was known for his stoic personality and strict law abiding tendencies. Bangsha believed in the strength of law and tradition above all else, that by respecting these things all things could be solved. He was somewhat of a boorish man.
Bangsha is the god of nobility, law, order, cooperation, loyalty, legislation, leadership, solitude, and duels.
Lanistra was of an unknown race before she ascended. The leader of the group pre-ascension and the one who came up with the plan, and the way, to kill God itself. She took up the largest chunk of God's shardic power. That of Cycles. All life, all the universe, is a giant wheel. An unbroken ring that captures all in its ever grinding forward motion. Lanistra is simultaneously a god of all and a god of none and has the most power and least at the same time. Both master and slave to the concept of cycles.
