Techniques are different than the powers granted by Yokai and Honzen. Some of them can be learned by normal people, utulizing the natural energy of the world, others are applications of the wells of power that are bestowed by Honzen or Yokai. There are as many possible techniques as there are stars in the skies. Unique techniques are usually founded by a singular person and require their teaching in order to learn, such as the Satsui no Hado and Mu no Ken.
Techniques are either listed as "General Use" or "Learned". In which case the person wishing to learn the technique must seek out the inventor of it.
There are two different names for this technique; Sonido and Shunpo. Sondio is typically the name for the high speed technique that's learned by those Yohei who are more alligned with their Yokai than their Honzen, as such it makes a static or booming sound when used instead of the typical wooshing noise or silence of Shunpo.
Shunpo and Sonido allow the user to access up to their full highest Honzen state speed, either Shikai or Bankai, while not having to unseal those states. Each level of Shunpo requires a year of training to access and as such are usually ranked out as follows:
Soldier: Up to 25% of highest Hakkei state
Officer: Up to 50% of highest Hakkei state
Lieutenant: Up to 75% of highest Hakkei state
Captain: 100% of highest Hakkei state.
Hakuda is the last of the triangle of general use techniques that deal with accessing higher power. Hakuda allows the user to access the strength of their highest Hakkei form based on training. Each level requires a year of training to access and as such are usually ranked out as follows:
Soldier: Up to 25% of highest Hakkei state
Officer: Up to 50% of highest Hakkei state
Lieutenant: Up to 75% of highest Hakkei state
Captain: 100% of highest Hakkei state.
Meaning steel skin, the Hierro technique is one somewhat inborn to all Yohei, an instinctive defense. It works similarly to Shunpo but instead of focusing on a speed increase it increases ones durability. Hierro requires one year per mastery level, same as Shunpo.
Soldier: Up to 25% of highest Hakkei state
Officer: Up to 50% of highest Hakkei state
Lieutenant: Up to 75% of highest Hakkei state
Captain: 100% of highest Hakkei state.
Pesquisa is the ability to sense or feel the natural energy in the world. While it's less used and less common than the Big Three techniques that every Yohei knows, Pesquisa is one of the more useful techniques, as everything alive leaves a trail, and that trail can be followed, and that trail is unique to them and them alone. Some people have likened this to a supernatural "smell" of sorts.
Unlike the Big Three, Pesquisa does not have levels of mastery, and instead of something one just gets better at as they develop themselves by using the technique.
Similar to the Cero a Bala is less powerful. However due to its composition it is about twenty times faster than a Cero which allows it to be fired consecutively. Typically those that do not know Cero Metralleta or are masters of Cero will rely on Bala, as mastering the Cero blast and its variants is a Captain level feat and rare to see outside of that rank. Bala's contain a lot more concussive force than they do piercing force, and can be used to knock people out or bludgeon holes in them as a result.
Created alongside Cero Metralleta.
The Cero Doble requires careful testing and control, using ones own energy reserves in order to temporarily halt, absorb, and then redirect a Cero back at an opponent. The user will "eat" an incoming Cero and then "digest" it for a moment. What is actually happening is the user is mixing the absorbed Cero with one of their own before launching the mixed double cero back at the attacker.

The Cero Metrallleta is the Bala on steroids. It is the concept of Bala, a quickfire consecutive Cero blast, taken to an extreme. Learning this technique requires absolute mastery of the Chikushou state, and is considered a pinnacle Cero technique along the echelons of Cero Oscuras.
The user charges a normal Cero and generates micro-points around that Cero, allowing the main charged blast to subsequently charge the surrounding Cero-points, allowing rapid fire, machine gun like Cero fire.
