Touching 500 & Protecting the Force

Satsang Seva Mission: Coimbatore Chapter identified a dire need amongst the Police force for PPE(personal protection equipment - full body covering), masks and sanitizers. In close coordination with the DCP, and on request, we quickly secured supplies of 80 PPE full body covers, 50 N95 masks, 20 500 ml sanitizer bottles etc.

The DCP of Coimbatore Police, Mr S Selvakumar acknowledged the same and appreciated our thoughts about the police force in this critical times.

Meanwhile in the streets of Chennai, the need for food, is quite dire. Even the policemen patrolling the streets have little options given the lack of any restaurants. We have slowly ramped up the number of meals prepared and are now touching 500+ meals daily between the Gurudwara and the Community Kitchen. Today's menu was 'Biriyani & Kurma'.
