On 7th April 2020, Dry Ration kits were distributed to 10 Rickshaw driver families in Patwardhan Baug Area. These families were in dire need of ration as lock down has stopped any form of income to them. The ration supplied would suffice for about 7 days. If the lock down persists, we would be supplying ration after assessing the situation. Rickshaw drivers were overwhelmed and thanked volunteers of TSF.

Items in each Ration Kit: Wheat Flour 5 Kg, Rice 3 Kg, Oil 1 Litre, Legumes 1 Kg

Sumati Balvan is an innovative school run by Radhabai Hardikar Pranijat Mangal Sanstha Trust. School is exclusively for children belonging from underprivileged families, and it not only provides skill based vocational education but also endeavors to create awareness in community and children towards the environment. TSF Pune team supports this school throughout the year whenever the need arises and has multiple visits to the school. School needed support in terms of dry ration and TSF Pune team provided them with the required supplies on 8^th April 2020 for 20 residents

Bholgiri Prathmik Vidyalaya is a corporation residential school aided and run by Renutai Gavaskar (Senior Social worker and President of Eklavya Nyasa). This residential school supports 65 children of Commercial Sex Workers and underprivileged strata of society. TSF Pune team received an SOS call from the school that they need ration immediately. Ration was procured and delivered at the school on 11th April, 2020.

TSF Pune team received a requirement by Dr. Niteen Bhave and Dr. Rohan Bhave for PPE kits at Sassoon and Sanjeevani Hospital. These hospitals were treating maximum COVID19 cases after Naidu hospital and PPEs were urgently required to safeguard medical staff from catching the infection. Kits were procured and delivered at both the hospitals on 12th April 2020.

The residents in Sainath Nagar are mostly house maids, drivers, security guards, daily wagers etc. Their families are impacted badly because of the lock down. We came to know that there are families who are in urgent need of ration. Hence, we reached out to them and identified 15 families who are in dire need of help.

On 15th April, we delivered dry ration kits to these 15 families. The kit included 5 kg wheat flour, 5 kg rice, 3 bathing soaps, 3 detergent soaps, 1 kg sugar, 250 gm tea leaves, 200 gm red chilli powder, 1 kg salt, 100 gm turmeric powder, 20 ml hair oil, 1 kg tur dal and 1 litre soyabean oil.
