'May' Day

Though the phrase evokes panic, it was smooth sailing today and about 4,500 people were fed.

Chennai continues to be firmly in the Red Zone with increasing number of cases, but many of the cases are Asymptomatic and we have a great recovery rate. The officials seems confident of being able to manage the situation.

The extension of the lockdown means that we have to continue our service for longer than intended. However, our focus areas may change depending on the developments. Here's praying for an end to the crisis gripping the world in May!

Coimbatore TSF activities today

We distributed basic/essential items to 100 families dependent on daily wages. The pack contains rice, dal, cooking oil, spices, vegetables etc.

The distribution was in collaboration with another NGO run by Jaya Neil, who was very appreciative of the support from The Satsang Foundation.
