We deepen our practice of meditation and begin to see how essential it is to our recovery
We deepen our understanding of how to engage in the essential practice of cultivating spiritual friends
Groups
Use as basis for weekly readings and topic discussion
Choose randomly or conduct a systemic Book Study
Every week, when asking for volunteers at the beginning of the meeting, ask someone to be the Lead Share on their experience with the discussion topic or inquiry question
For speaker meetings, offer speakers the options to choose a discussion topic as the basis for their share
Individuals
Use as a basis and structure for a weekly practice
Choose 1-3 practices each week. Notice the benefits
Review the Community page on this site for ideas on ways to cultivate friendships in this community
Dharma Friends
Make outreach texts and 10 minute calls to new friends and share about practices and insights
Meet regularly with a single dharma friend for 30 to 60 minutes to share more deeply on practice, writings or insights
Form an Inquiry writing group where participants meet to individually work on inquiry writing or other practices
