More About This Site

This site is basically a personal wiki that has been made available to my wise friends in Recovery Dharma.  It is a study guide based on the book, Recovery Dharma.  It started out as s spreadsheet to match the topics with Buddhist concepts and dharma talks.  My friends started asking for links to the list. Eventually, it turned into this website. I still use this guide to help structure my own practice.

Meeting Resources / Book Study

The top half of these pages can be used by meeting facilitators who are looking for a quick suggestion for a meeting meditation, reading and discussion topic.

The bottom half of this page can be used by individuals between meetings and as an introduction to Recovery  Dharma concepts and practices.

Practice Resources / Inquiry

These pages can serve as a second, deeper inquiry into Recovery Dhamra Concepts and practices for individuals and their wise friends and mentors.

This section is under construction. The vision, though, is to provide resources for others on this path who want to work with specific issues such as food, technology, money, clutter, racism, and other areas of life where our lack of awareness and insight leads us on loops of harmful and repetitive behaviors.

The about page contains the lists of lists and notes about this practice as it has developed for me over the years.  Feel free to geek out if you are inspired. Perhaps to create your own guide with a specific focus!

Beginner's Meeting Schedule

This is just an idea for consideration.  This schedule focuses on the initial tasks of cultivating trust in the program and freedom from craving.

The bullet points move through the introduction and Fourth Noble Truths, with a few of the sections from Community & Sangha to help integrate connection with the rest of the sangha.
