You may use your tail to grapple targets as if it were an open hand. When you successfully grapple a target with your tail they become restrained and take 2d6 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier bludgeoning damage.
You are immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition and have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. You have disadvantage on saving throws against cold damage and extreme cold.
You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

The creature must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to your Mastery Save DC or Spell Save DC or become magically petrified for 1 minute. The creature may repeat the save at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success. If the target is grappled by you they make the initial save at disadvantage.
You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining uses on a long rest.
