3rd level Way of Shadow Feature
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of certain spells. As an action, you can spend 2 ki points to cast darkness, darkvision, pass without trace, or silence, without providing components. Additionally, you gain the minor illusion cantrip if you don’t already know it. When you use this feature to cast Darkness, you can see through the affected area as if it were bright light.
3rd level Way of Shadow Feature
Beginning at 3rd level, you gain the ability to step from one shadow into another. As a bonus action you can teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is in dim light or darkness or that is adjacent to a creature that is casting a shadow. You can then spend a Ki point to make a melee attack with an Unarmed Strike or Monk Weapon at advantage, or to take the hide action.
6th level Way of Shadow Feature
At 6th level, you can prepare yourself while you stalk your prey, gathering your Ki to strike a deadly blow. Whenever you spend a Ki point you may add a d4 to your Devotion pool. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike or Monk Weapon you may expend any number of d4s from your pool and force the target to make a Constitution saving throw, taking damage equal to the number rolled on a failed save or half as much on a success. You lose any unexpended d4s when you finish a short or long rest.
11th level Way of Shadow Feature
When you reach 11th level you have learned how to pull yourself and others out of harm's way.
You can use your Deflect Attacks feature when a friendly creature that you can see is hit with an attack while within 60 ft of you. When you do, you teleport them to an unoccupied space within 5ft of you. When you use your Deflect Attack feature to protect yourself, you may immediately use Shadow Step as part of that same Reaction.
17th Level Way of Shadow Feature
Your Mastery over shadow magic grows. You can spend 7 Ki Points to cast Etheralness, Mirage Arcane, or Teleport, without providing components.
