Academic Statement & Professional Interests
As an adjunct instructor in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Queens College, I teach courses about archives using diverse materials from the Queens College Special Collections and Archives, located in Rosenthal Library. In my classes, I prioritize real-world application of archives theory for students as emerging professionals. It's both pedagogically important and personally rewarding to me to act as a bridge between the QC Archives and the GSLIS, and with a foot in both spaces I engage students to think critically about how to do the job of an archivist and why.
