Intervention for Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking
This population is when abusers and traffickers take advantage of individuals seeking connection, love, support and control through manipulation. Occupational therapists could help by reporting incidents that we are told and giving support to the client by letting them feel heard. We can also recommend different coping skills to help them work through the situation.
