I'm never alone, I'm alone all the time.
Are you at one, do you lie. We live on a wheel, where everyone steals.Â
And when we arise, it's like strawberry fields.
Treated you bad, you bruise my face. Couldn't love you more, you've got a beautiful taste.
Don't let the days go by, Â Could've been easier on you.
I couldn't change, Though I wanted to.
Should've been easier by three, Our old friend fear, and you and me.

"Glycerine" by Bush- Acoustic Guitar Cover Clip - June, 2023.Â
Gavin McGregor Rossdale (born 30 October 1965) is an English musician, best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush. He helped form Bush in 1992;Â
Gavin Rossdale wrote the song about his then-girlfriend, Suze DeMarchi as stated in an interview with Howard Stern.
[3] He wrote it in his London flat, feeling that there was an ancient, mystical element to the song as it was coming together. He told Entertainment Weekly in 2017 that "I was like a conduit. Something about it was bigger than anything we were doing."
[4] The song is in the key of F major. The chord progression is F maj – C maj – D min – Bâ™ maj throughout the verse with various ornamental embellishments diatonic to the key of F major, including the bridge which cycles between the I (F major), V (C major), IV (Bâ™ major), and V chord in F Major.Â
The refrain towards the end hangs on the vi (D minor) – IV (Bâ™ major) before returning to the recurring progression for the last verse.Â
