Hello Parents and Students,
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Wax Museum: On Friday, May 22rd, a completed copy of the wax museum speech is due. Parents, please check it over for correct spelling. Students should be memorizing their speech for homework. Also, students should be gathering items for their costumes to prepare for their presentation.
The final performance will be on Tuesday, June 9th. Parents, you are welcome to come watch our Wax Museum performances! They will be held in the MPR from 10:45-11:45.

OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE
Math: Students will take the Math portion of the CAASPP test this week. We will continue in our Module 6 books this week with a focus on geometry. Students will be working on lessons 8, 9, and 10. Students will come home with a study guide on Thursday. They will take a short quiz on shapes this Friday.
Reader's Workshop: This week, we will take our final reading assessments of the year. Students will be reading and answering questions to determine their reading level. We will also review concepts learned throughout the year.
Writer's Workshop: This week, we will complete our Biome project.
P.E.: Please dress appropriately on Monday for P.E. every week.

Daily 20 reading log due on Friday, with a parent/grown-up signature
