Led by the Water Baron: Miles Hayes (caleb harcassle)
The Water Ranch is led by the Water Baron, one of the first people in Mercy to collect those left in the small desert town together to find a way to survive. The Water Ranch is on the Rio Grande, once a much smaller river that has flourished since the wars and viruses. Once the Water Ranch belonged to an eccentric man that built bunkers under the house along the river. Taken over by the family of the Water Baron, water was first cleaned of impurities in small batches by many hands as the town came together to build a water filtration system that could produce many gallons a day. When the battery shut down 12 years ago, the town once again looked to the Water Ranch to find a way to make things work without the electricity they had depended on. It took time and many lives were lost, finally, clean water flowed once again.
As proud as the Water Ranch Baron and members are, they know there could be minds from the Tower that could make advances on their abilities to provide clean water to the citizens of Mercy. This faction is very powerful in Mercy, though depends upon many others to function.
