Lipstick

For a standard moisturizing lipstick, you can use equal parts of the following base ingredients:

• Beeswax Pellets (1 tsp): Provides the structure and firmness needed for a solid stick.

• Shea or Cocoa Butter (1 tsp): Adds nourishment and a creamy, smooth texture.

• Carrier Oil (1 tsp): Use coconut oil for shine or sweet almond/jojoba oil for extra conditioning.

• Pigment (1/2 tsp): Use cosmetic-grade mica powder or natural alternatives like beetroot powder. 

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Melt the Base: Combine the beeswax, butter, and oil in a heat-safe glass bowl. Use a double boiler or microwave in 15-second bursts until fully melted.

2. Add Color: Remove from heat and slowly stir in your chosen pigment until the color is even and lump-free.

3. Optional Extras: Add 1–2 drops of Vitamin E oil for nourishment or a drop of peppermint essential oil for scent.

4. Pour and Set: Carefully pour the liquid into a lipstick tube or small tin. Let it cool and harden for at least 30 minutes before use.
