Ingredients
50 ml olive oil
1/2 bulb of garlic, finely minced
1 tsp of basil, or use fresh herbs
1 tsp oregano or use fresh herbs
4 - 5 medium tomatoes (finely chopped) or one can of tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Add the garlic and oil to a pot and heat on low until soft.
Add the herbs to the pot; be careful not to burn the herbs and garlic
Add the tomatoes and simmer on low until thickened
Use right away and store the rest in a jar in the refrigerator
