Ingredients
1/2 cucumber thinly sliced
1/8 of a thinly sliced white or yellow onion (or leeks)
1 tsp dill
125 ml of white wine vinegar
125 ml of water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp white sugar or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
Add the water and vinegar to a pot and heat it close to a boil
Add the cucumber slices, onion, dill, and salt to a 480 ml mason jar
Pour the water and vinegar over the cucumbers and lightly stir
Wipe the rim and place the lid on.
When cooled, refrigerate.
