Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must have a PhD awarded on or after 1 January 2022, or a PhD date that is commensurate after allowable career interruptions.
This scheme is open to both internal and external applicants.
The Griffith Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme was established to assist the University in achieving its objective of strengthening its research profile and capacity and bring high calibre early-career researchers from national and international institutes to the University. Fellowships are for two years.
RMIT's Vice-Chancellor's Research Fellowships are open to local and international researchers who are outstanding in their field and who meet the eligibility and selection criteria.
Each year, RMIT brings on the world’s best and brightest researchers and teams to undertake transdisciplinary applied research that creates positive impact for society, the economy and the environment.
For this round, our focus is on building transdisciplinary capability in Regenerative Futures, MedTech Innovation, and Digital Innovation. We are also expanding the program to include Vice-Chancellor's Professorial- and Principal Research Fellowships, alongside our well-established Senior-, Research-, and Postdoctoral Research Fellowships.

Currently employed or have been employed in an internationally recognised research institution with an academic standing equivalent to Level C, D, or E (Senior Research Fellow, Associate Professor, and Professor), with a proven track record of excellence in research (top 10% of their field), and academic leadership.
