Memphis, TN - For those of you who do not read the early edition of Lee's Traveller, the Veteran's Day Tribute will come a little late, but it is still important to recognize the veterans from our collective classes. This tribute was created several years ago and I have not had any updates to add any names to it, so it remains the same. Still, it is a short presentation to honor those of us who served.

With no disrespect toward any of our branches of service, I looked back to find some media items about the different service branches which were popular or aired during our teen years. Two are songs, one is a clip show on TV just before the National Anthem and sign off, and the other is from a TV show (again, not making fun but could find no other era-appropriate songs or other things.) I honor and respect all branches of the military. I could not find one Coast Guard song from our era so I have included a current version of their song.

I don't have a clue what the Space Command will use as their song...maybe Elton John's "Rocketman"?
