Lee 2015 Reunion Committee Meets

The Class of 1965 Reunion Planning Committee with the support of the Classes of 1964 and 1966 met at Gibson's Restaurant on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015.
We have accomplished much in one month, the Marriott Hotel has been booked for our reunion. We have selected our committees and they have begun to help make this a very special reunion.
So save the "DATE" for our 50th reunion.
Sept. 11 - 13, 2015
And as always this is a combined reunion of the Classes of "64, "65 & '66, but with a little extra for the Class of '65.
We are all Fami-LEE and like the Class of 1964 "Still Crazy After All These Years!!!"
We will be letting everyone know later how to come join us and celebrate our 50th reunion.

Class of 1965 Reunion Planning Meeting for Feb. 2015
The meeting was called to order at 2:30 PM by Glenn James at Gibson’s Restaurant on Feb. 27, 2015.
Present were: Judy Fedrowich Kincaid, Don Stroud, Patsy Hughes Oldroyd, Pam Grooms Smith, Joanne Crafton Jarmon, Alice Gullion Preston, Carol Jean Williams Carroll, Niles Prestage, Elbert Balch, Kathy Harris Jones, Ann Pat King Fanning, Sarajane Steigerwald Tarter, Rose Marie James, and Glenn James.
To begin our meeting, Niles Prestage prayed asking for thanksgiving and blessings.
Committee members were selected as follows:

Susan Simms – Event Promotion & Name Badges

Class of ’65 Committee – Sarajane Steigerwald Tarter, Patsy Hughes Oldroyd, Pam Grooms Smith, Carol Jean Williams Carroll, Niles Prestage, Don Stroud, Glenn James & Rose Marie James
Class of ’66 Committee – Judy Fedrowich Kincaid, Kathy Harris Jones & Joanne Crafton Jarmon
Anyone else that would like to be on one of the committees or just help us out is more than welcome! Please come to our next meeting, if possible or let us know.
Proposed Reunion Schedule:
Sept. 11, 2015 Friday Night, Poolside Courtyard, Casual dress:
6:00PM – 10:00PM: Hospitality Rooms/Cash Bar
Sept. 12, 2015 Saturday Night, Banquet Room, Dressy Casual:
6:30PM – 7:00PM: Check In/Cash Bar
7:00PM – 8:00PM: Buffet
8:00PM – 9:00PM: Short programs by classes
9:00PM – 12:00PM: Musical Entertainment/Dancing
Questions for next meeting:
1. Defraying the cost of the Band by having sponsors?
2. Will snacks/drinks for Friday night to be purchased by the group collectively or to be purchased by each class individually?
3. What about name badges for late comers and do we still want to use arm bands? (Susan Simms has offered to set up a computer and printer to print name badges at the Saturday night check in tables)
4. Questions about EventBrite:
4.1. Who will cash or checks be sent to? (The committee or EventBrite)
4.2. How is the committee to be informed as to who is coming?
4.3. Who are the individual class spreadsheets to be sent to? (EventBrite or Susan Simms)
5. Registration Fees ($110 per Couple for the Reunion weekend / $55 per Single for the Reunion weekend, Friday night only: $40 per person, and Saturday night only $??.?? Per person)
The meeting was adjourned at 3:45 PM.
The next meeting will be held at JR’s office on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 5:00 PM.

Memphis, TN - Last night after getting the Traveller all ready to publish over two hours of edits and all the content of the planned issue disappeared. This is not the first time it has happened to me. I click on "Save" and it says it is saved and later when I want to quit the program it will only stop after I click "Don't Save". Since the issue has been previously saved, logic demands the previous saves should have been saved - but they were not. Having just returned from our last home game which was lost with a missed shot in the last six seconds, I was too upset to stay up and try to redo it last night. But here it is. Thanks to all the contributors, which numbered 5 this week. One item submitted by Collins Wynn will be save for a later date.
