Grammar Note: When asking how someone is feeling, Spanish speakers use the verb ESTAR - the temporary "to be" verb because how a person feels will change. Please take a look at the drop-down list to see how the verb "Estar" is conjugated.
In their responses, Spanish speakers tend to drop the first person pronoun - Yo - and start the sentence with the verb - Estoy - followed by the word that indicates their state. You will also hear some people drop the entire phrase "yo estoy" and just tell you how they are feeling.
