For new LA programs, program management centers on "Making the Case" for initiating and sustaining an LA program to faculty and administrators as well as determining the logistics to teach the pedagogy course, facilitate weekly meetings, and support LAs in classrooms. More mature programs are concerned sustainability, sharing research and programmatic evaluation, and professional development. As more mature programs grow to incorporate more departments and potentially colleges, they often need to revisit issues of "making the case" and logistics.
