LA Program Description
How was the program started?
The program started with one professor looking for a way to support his efforts to transform his course.
How is the program administered ?
Hiring and administration is done at the department level except the University Foundation LAs which are hired and supported by a center on campus.
How is the program funded?
The program is funded by the departments except for the University Foundations LAs which are currently funded by a university grant. When the university grant period is over these LAs will be funded by the College of Theology or the Provost.
Future plans for expansion?
The program is growing both in terms of number of departments that use LAs and in the number of courses within current departments that are LA-supported.
