Eliciting Student Ideas Lesson

Bloom's Taxonomy and Determining Student Ideas

This lesson introduces Bloom's Taxonomy to have LAs appreciate the cognitive load and depth of ideas different questions elicit. Scenarios of LA/students discourse are provided for LAs to investigate how to determine student ideas from conversation. Examples from biology, calculus, chemistry, education, math foundations, physics, and psychology are included so LAs from diverse content backgrounds can analyze a scenario in a discipline in which they have expertise.
