Program Management and Assessment Tools Available on LAA

LA Campus is a relational database where all LA program data is stored for supporting the operation of a campus program.

Interfaces are tailored to each category of users including:

  • students who wan to be LAs

  • faculty who want to use LAs

  • departmental coordinators who monitor departmental faculty

  • program administrators who manage their program

This system was built to foster campus-wide collaboration, data tracking, reporting, and efficiency.

LA Alliance members can use the assessment tool to run pre/post assessments by signing up their courses.

At the end of the term, they can download their report, interpret their learning outcomes, and compare to national norms.

Program and Participant Finder

LA Alliance members can search for other programs or faculty using LAs in various departments.

The Program and Participant finder can help members search by university type, enrollment, funding type and discipline.

Program Implementation Toolkit

Data slides, pedagogy course materials, promotional material, ways to use LAs, funding suggestions, and other materials for starting, maintaining, and sustaining a program are available for program directors.

Links to research articles on the LA Model are sortable and available for grant writers, curious administrators, skeptical faculty and others who want to learn more about the empirical claims about the Model.
