Active Fresher Selections

This is an incomplete list of active fresher society selections, updated daily. I might miss some, especially if I wasn't DM'ed with this info, so please do check other sources too.

Unsolicited advice

Try for any soc that you can: it's better to have tried and not got in, than to not try at all.
That being said, many socs won't be your cup of tea (i.e. you won't like them); and many socs will be amazing for you (which is why try for whatever you can), so def ask about them to seniors (of course, we'll have our biases too ehehe).
Diff socs have diff workloads, cultures, interests (obviously), connections, etc
Lastly, you can always leave socs that don't match your vibe any more. I would recommend you try your best to see if you can stay first, but if you can't, don't force yourself : Your mental peace, and freedom comes first always.
Some people might say that if you leave my Soc, you will be punished in some way (for example, not being allowed to try for Gymkhana position of responsibilities). THAT IS FALSE. Worst case, the senior of that soc might not like you anymore, but as long as you know other seniors (& you will), you'll be fine.
Lastly: Not getting into any soc doesn't matter. For connections, you have your wingmates & dept. For placements, Socs don't matter much compared to your CGPA and skills/projects.
