This is, like mentioned, the college portal of IITKGP. Pretty much most major activities you can do/see will be through this portal, including, but not limited to Fees Payment, Subject & course Registration, Academic & Personal details, Time tables, etc.

After your admission has been confirmed (freezing seat and paying seat confirmation fees), you will likely receive a mail from the college, instructing you to register into the ERP system, along with a guide on how to (which is the one attached below). Please do it asap.

From the mail I received from the college (ERP Admin) :
Please Signup into IIT Kharagpur ERP system as follows:
First select Stakeholder Type as NEW ADMISSION
Then select Entrance Exam as JEE
Then in Reg/Appl No. as your 9 digit JEE Advanced Roll No.(Ex: 245063077)
Then rest as instructed in the ERP Instruction file (attached).
After signing up using "JEE" and the above 9 digit no. (JEE245063077) ) as your STAKEHOLDER CODE/LOGIN ID and rest you know very well.
Don't use Special Characters( !, \, %, @, ^, &, # etc.,) in your password and other details while updating PROFILE.
Don't try to upload your PHOTO and Signature. It will be taken care by us. Before coming to IIT Kharagpur, Please bring copies of all your testimonials including ERP Profile printout.

These will be the stuff for which you'll likely use the ERP system for (Official Reg Instructions). If you're a new student, please complete all the requirements (See official docs, or New user menu below), only then will you gain access to the full erp system.
From the official docs :
After logging in, select the “Academic” menu from the bar at top. Go to “Update and Print Student Profile” (New Admission) link and click on it. Please note down your tentative roll number and hall shown in the link. Update all the details and click on “Update” button to save the changes. After successfully saving your data take a printout using the “Print Profile” button. “Print Profile” and “Pay Fees” button would be enabled only after the data saved in ERP. Students shall generate “student profile” from the ERP site after logging in and obtain print out of the same. They should submit signed copy of the students profile at the time of registration.
Only after finishing all this (registration, profile filling out, payments (not necessarily fully though)), will you get access to the full erp system.
In the first semester, you will have to choose what your Extra-Academic Activity is going to be. This will be a 1 credit/sem course, and will typically have 1-2 classes (2-3 hrs) a week. Please check out EAA page for more info.

After completing new user stuff, you might be required to submit documents for verification. This can be done here. Pathway : Academic -> Students -> Upload Supporting Documents (New Admission)

Every semester, you will be required to register for all the subjects you will be taking during that semester. For the first two sems, you won't have any choice, but in later sems, you will be required to choose what subjects you want.
Typical Pathway : Academic Section -> UG Menu -> Subject Registration
The campus wifi networks (GUEST, STUDENT, ACADEMIC, CAMPUS) run on an username-password system. The username will be your roll number, and the password will be set by you in ERP (and can be changed too).
Log into ERP -> Other Actions -> Set Username & Passwords
Time Table => Pathway : Academic Section -> Time Table Menu -> Choose as needed . Both central (every dept) & your timetable will be there.
Curricula/Subjects => NEW GENERAL LINK (This is accurate of 30th June 2025). You can also see your general subjects info (along with minor & other subject requirements) in this pathway : Academic Section -> Subjects Menu -> Choose as needed. This might not be updated.
Your Academic Information => This is basically your profile in the college, and includes all your personal details & academic details too (CGPA, attendance, etc.) . Pathway : Academic Section -> Students Menu -> Your Academic Information -> Choose link as needed
Scholarship => Most scholarships will have to be done via ERP, and this is the pathway : Academic Section -> Scholarships Menu -> Application for Scholarship
Feedback => This is general feedback on all the courses you had in a sem. Will typically open in the last month of the semester, and you will have to fill it out to get your hall ticket. Pathway: Academic Section -> Feedback Menu -> Feedback Form
Hall Ticket / Admit Card => Both mean the document you will have to show before writing your midsem/endsem exam. Can be found at the following pathway (UNVERIFIED) : Academic Section -> Examination Menu -> Examination Timetable (For Students)
Public notices & such will be uploaded on ERP (you will NOT be notified, so do check regularly).
Pathway : Login to ERP -> Other Actions -> View Apna (Internal) IIT KGP Notices -> Choose as needed (Usually Academic-UG)
Fake documents & notices often circulate in whatsapp groups, so if you want confirmation, please check the notices here as most information is posted here.

Yes, it's an extremely ancient interface. I really hope they'd change it, but let's see.
ERP = Enterprise Resource Planning (Most companies use similar systems, hence the name stuck).
Guest House Menu, while active, doesn't seem to work. For booking guest house, please mail your facad for details/ask senior. The rooms available might or might not be accurate.
Many links will only be available to you once they are needed, not before.
Blue links work, Red dont. Info button gets stuck in a forever loading loop.
Mediclaim is for reimbursing money you spent outside on the recommendation of BCRTH (IITKGP) doctor.
