The bylaws separately prescribed by Article 7, Paragraph 2 of the ISDAK Terms and Rules are as follows.
Members’ obligations:
Members shall participate in a floor meeting planned by the Resident Assistant (RA) or the Community Assistant (CA).
Members’ responsibilities:
Members shall comply with the following matters in addition to the dormitory regulations and related rules stipulated by the university.
Hitotsubashi University International Student Residence Hall (Ikkyo-ryo) Pledge.
"Agreement on drinking in Hitotsubashi University International Student Residence Hall.”
The problem-solving procedure:
In principle, where problems arise among members due to the violation of compliance issues stipulated in Article 2, matters should be resolved between the parties. However, in cases where a solution between the parties cannot be found, the following procedure shall be taken to resolve the situation.
In the event that a member fails to fulfill their obligations and duties, the RA and the CA will provide guidance and advice so that a mutually acceptable solution can be sought.
Where the situation is beyond the scope of the guidance and advice of the RA or the CA, it is important to seek guidance from residence hall advisors.
Operation of support organization:
The scope of duties of the RA and the CA stated in Article 7, Paragraph 2 of the ISDAK terms and rules shall be as follows.
Resident Assistant (RA) : Support the living conditions and relationships between members living on the floor where they are in charge, manage ISDAK expenses, manage subordinate teams as necessary, and support the living conditions and relationships between ISDAK members.
Community Assistant (CA) : Support the living conditions and relationships between members living on the floor where they are in charge.
Selection of candidates for RA and CA:
With regard to the selection of candidates for RA and CA, under the guidance of the chief executive and deputy director, candidates are elected based on their applications when they were recruited to each university. The selected candidate shall be considered and approved by the International Student Residence Committee.
Duties and organization of the RA and the CA:
The RA and the CA shall serve the following roles.
The RA and the CA shall assist in the management of student residence halls, support the living conditions and relationships between members, etc.
The RA Chief shall manage the General Assembly.
The RA shall attend to the subordinate organization/teams as necessary in order to perform the duties set forth in the preceding paragraph.
In addition to what is provided for in these regulations, matters concerning crisis management shall be determined separately.
