Rules in the shared Area

• • Do not use other person’s belongings. Make sure you know what is shared and what is not shared in the common space.

  • Write your name or floor number on your personal belongings.

  • Make sure you follow the guidelines of separating garbage.

  • Do not leave your food or kitchen waste, since it will be cause of cockroaches’ infestation

  • Keep the fridge clean by mopping up the dirt appropriately.

  • You must responsibly manage and discard all your food in the fridge, since it will be cause of mold and food poisoning. 

  • RA/CA would throw away food with mold, vermin and a putrid smell without notice.

  • Do not put pans or pots directly into the fridge not to break plastic shelves inside.

  • Do not pour even a slight oil down the sink. Make sure to wipe it with paper towel.

  • If there is too much oil to be soaked with kitchen towel, use oil container or “Katameru-Temple” (powder that harden oil)

The prevention of a fire:

• While you are cooking, do not go away from the kitchen.

• Do not heat excessively.

• There is a store room near shower room on your floor.

• Ask your RA/CA about the rules when using store room.

• There is no lock on the door of store room. Please manage your luggage at your own risk.

• Do not use the shower room as a toilet.

• Close the door of the shower room, or the changing room will be flooded.

• After using the shower room, open the door and ventilate a room.

• After using the shower room, make sure that your hair and soap bubbles do not remain on the wall or floor

• Exhaust fans can be left on for 24 hours.

• Take responsibility for your shampoo, soap and so on. Make sure to dispose of the empty bottles.

• Please throw your sanitary items in the trash with lid. Please devise it so that the contents cannot be seen by wrapping it in an opaque bag.

• Do not put the clothes on the floor after washing, put them into the basket instead.
