Garbage Separation

• You don't need to purchase the designated trash bags of Kodaira City with your own money.

• There is a whiteboard on the kitchen door for communicating with the cleaning staff. Please use it freely.

• There is a free application "Kodaira Garbage Separation" created by Kodaira City.

It is very useful because it tells you how to separate the garbage. If you are interested in it, please download on Google Play or App Store and use it.

• Plastic container and wrapping that cannot be washed off

• Leather products, vinyl products, rubber products (includes silicone products), plastic product without plastic mark smaller than 15cm

• Dispose cooking oil after absorbing with cloth or paper

• Anything that does not fit the trash bag is considered as large sized garbage

• Do not dispose paper products as "burnable" and dispose to designated area.

• Ceramic product, glass product, plastic product without plastic mark longer than 15cm, metal products

• Anything that doesn’t fit the trash bag is considered Large sized

• Cracked dish, knifes and razor edges (sharp objects) must be wrapped with newspaper or cloth, put in a bag labeled as “dangerous” and leave close to the trash can but not inside.

• Any wrapping or container with plastic mark

• Plastic bottle caps, labels

• Plastic bags from Groceries store

• In case of collecting garbage from your room, please take out and separate every garbage from any plastic bag. After separating, throw away plastic bags to plastic garbage.

• Anything that is unclean must be washed with water. If it can not be washed off, put it in "burnable".
