Suggested activities/work for the week of June 8th:

****Please read and practice Spelling words every day. The rest you can complete at your own pace.

-Read every day for 30 minutes (This could be split into two 15 minute sessions, but no less, as we’re working on stamina).

-Spelling words for the week:

****Ways you can practice Spelling words:

-Verbally – have your child spell their words verbally

-Create sentences with their words

-Make flashcards

-Scramble and unscramble words (your kids will all know how to do this)

-Find as many words as possible that rhyme with each spelling word

-Please do three journal entries. Here are some possible topics:

-Write a list of questions you would like answered. They could be about the past, present, or future.

-Imagine that dogs take over the world. What do they make humans do?

-Write a story about flying to outer space and finding a new planet.
