Birthdays

A very special birthday wish to Tommy who celebrated his birthday on Friday, June 5th!

We really wish we could have celebrated with you Tommy but hope you had a wonderful day!

Hello Grade 1!

June 8th-12th

Welcome to week 9 and our last week of online learning!! It is hard to believe the school year and our online learning journey for Grade 1 is over! The last day for online learning is this Friday June 12th.

Thank you for all your support throughout these past nine weeks. This has been a huge learning experience for everyone and we thank you for taking on the challenge with us to help your student continue to learn and improve their skills during this time.

We wish this wasn't how the school year was ending but we hope you all have a wonderful summer and look forward to hopefully seeing your students in the fall as grade 2 students!!

As always, please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions!

*We are going to leave the website up for the summer so you have access to previous lessons, activities and the links on the learning links page if you wish to access some of these over the summer. Take care!

Have a great week, we miss you!!

June 1st-5th

Welcome to week 8! It is so hard to believe we are now in June and nearing the end of the school year and our online learning journey for Grade 1. The last day for online learning will be Friday June 12th. So the start of next week (June 7th/8th) will be the last day any work/activities are posted for the rest of this school year.

Remember to only do what you can, when/if you have time and are able to. If you or your student are getting frustrated, stop, take a break and start again later (if you can). As the weather gets nicer we know it gets harder to get work done as well. Your family's mental health is the number one priority right now!!

Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions!

Have a great week, we miss you!!

Welcome!/Information

We hope everyone is doing well. We miss you all so much!

On this website you will find weekly lessons along with ideas for learning at home. New activities will be uploaded weekly. We do not want to cause any additional stress during this time, please just do what you can when you can. Please remember we don't expect you to turn your home into a classroom. We just want to provide you with ideas for and support in reinforcing the skills your child has learned this year. The most important thing during this time is that you look after your family and stay healthy and safe!

Click the math and literacy tabs (under our class name) to see the plans along with different activities (or click the buttons on the left to take you directly to them).

Under the "Extras" tab in the drop down menu you will find lots of different pages and resources for you to look through and use. Teachers will be adding different things to these pages weekly. We have added buttons for some of them (on the left) as well to create easy access). On the learning links page you will find direct links to our different online programs like Epic! SplashLearn, 10Monkeys, as well as many other great resources for you to explore.

One of the many positives about this being a K-5 website is if you find you something we post something is too difficult, or too easy, for your child to do, you can look at some of the other teachers pages to find a different activity that better meets your students needs!

This is new for all of us, so if you are having difficulties finding something please reach out! We will navigate this new idea of online learning and the next few months together!

Click the button to access the learning at home resources from the Government of New Brunswick. You can search by subject and grade level.
