Le DELF Prim, un diplôme qui valorise les compétences en français de vos enfants.

Le DELF Prim est un diplôme officiel du ministère français de l'Éducation nationale, qui certifie le niveau de français des élèves de 7 à 11 ans. Il comporte trois niveaux : A1.1, A1 et A2, qui correspondent aux niveaux du Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues (CECRL).

Le DELF Prim évalue les quatre compétences langagières :

- La compréhension orale,

- La compréhension écrite,

- La production orale

- Et la production écrite.

Les épreuves sont adaptées aux intérêts et aux besoins des enfants, et sont conçues pour être ludiques et motivantes.

En passant le DELF Prim, vos enfants pourront :

- Faire le point sur leur apprentissage du français et se fixer des objectifs

- Obtenir un diplôme reconnu dans le monde entier, qui atteste de leur niveau de français

- Renforcer leur confiance en eux et leur plaisir d'apprendre le français

- Se préparer aux examens du DELF scolaire, qui leur permettront de poursuivre des études supérieures en France ou dans d'autres pays francophones.

Nous vous invitons à inscrire vos enfants aux examens du DELF Prim, qui auront lieu le vendredi 24 mai 2024 à Discovery. Vous trouverez en pièce jointe la fiche d'inscription à remplir et à nous renvoyer au plus vite.

Chaque diplôme est indépendant, par exemple : si je souhaite passer le DELF Prim A2, je n’ai pas besoin de passer le DELF Prim A1.1 avant.

Après le DELF PRIM A2, votre enfant aura terminé les épreuves du DELF de niveau primaire. Il passera ensuite le niveau DELF Junior au collège.

Pourquoi passer le DELF Prim ?

- Le DELF PRIM est destiné aux enfants âgés de 7 à 12 ans qui se trouvent en école primaire.

- Ce diplôme est valide à vie et il est reconnu dans 165 pays. Il est vécu comme une récompense et une vraie fierté pour les enfants comme pour les parents.

The DELF Prim, a diploma that showcases your children’s French skills.

The DELF Prim is an official diploma from the French Ministry of National Education, which certifies the proficiency of students aged 7 to 11. It has three levels: A1.1, A1 and A2, which correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The DELF Prim assesses the four language skills: oral comprehension, written comprehension, oral production and written production. 

By taking the DELF Prim, your children will be able to:

• Review their learning of French and set goals

• Obtain a diploma recognized worldwide, which proves their level of French

• Boost their confidence and enjoyment of learning French

• Prepare for the DELF school exams, which will allow them to pursue higher education in France or in other French-speaking countries.

We invite you to register your children for the DELF Prim exams, which will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Discovery. You will find attached the registration form to fill out and send back to us as soon as possible.

Each diploma is independent, for example: if I want to take the DELF Prim A2, I do not need to take the DELF Prim A1.1 before. Each diploma assesses 4 subdomains: oral comprehension, written comprehension, writing/Composition and oral expression

The tests are tailored to the interests and needs of the children, and are designed to be fun and engaging.

Why take the DELF Prim?

–The DELF PRIM is intended for children aged 7 to 12 who are in primary school.

–This diploma is valid for life and is recognized in 165 countries. It is experienced as a reward and a true pride for the children as well as the parents.

After DELF PRIM A2, your child will be done with primary level DELF papers. They will then take the DELF Junior level in secondary school.
