We are excited to usher your child into a new season of learning, in partnership with you. We are confident that their education experience at Discovery will be nothing short of life-changing!
Firstly, we would like to remind you that school will resume on Monday 6th September, 2021 for most students.
Our 2 and 3 year old classes will start school on Tuesday the 7th of September 2021.
Your child will also have an opportunity to meet their class teacher before reporting to school. The class teacher will call each parent and propose a convenient meeting time. This will be the first step towards a strong partnership between you and the teacher, one that is central to accelerated student progress, personal growth, and achievement.
You can be confident that in terms of COVID19 prevention, we have put in place the precautions to keep everyone healthy and safe while learning in school.
If your child is not assigned a class by September 2nd, please send an immediate email to info@discoveryrwanda.org with the full names and the birth date of your child.
In preparation for the new academic year, kindly review all of the sections in this message and read all of the Discovery guiding documents.
We look forward to a successful year with all of our students, and in partnership with each parent.

This is a separate card and is used at arrival only as proof that parents have cleared with the finance department before entering the building.
Access cards will be issued within 48 hours if your child was not at Discovery last term. A separate pick-up card will then be issued within 5 working days, which bears your child's photo and which will be used to pick up children especially where other adults pick your child from school.
Parents whose children were attending Discovery last year will also get new access cards, which will be used in addition to the pick-up cards that have their child's photo.
The access cards are already available for parents who have cleared with the Finance Office
Please ensure you have collected your access card before school opens for your children.
Parents are kindly requested to process their access card at least 24 hours before bringing the child to start school.
At student drop-off, all families are required to present their access card or show proof of tuition payment. Please do not bring your child to school without an access card or proof of payment.
Please keep your child's access card safe. Continue to bring the access card every day when you drop off your child.
