Good afternoon to our amazing Discovery Family!

We have to start with acknowledging our massive win at the Consumer Choice Awards!

 We are officially "International School of the Year" with 8,630 votes! 

We owe a huge THANK YOU to all parents and staff who mobilised friends and family to vote and keep voting for us for so many days! We look forward to the award ceremony at the end of February.

 It is a true privilege to partner with you in empowering young children, and you really showed how much you appreciate us too with that vote count!

Midterm Holidays

We are now in our midterm break and students return to school on Monday, 28th February, 2022

COVID19 testing by 27th February, 2022

All students are required to submit covid19 results to their class teacher on Saturday 26th or Sunday 27th by 1pm at the latest.

 As usual, two family members can test on behalf of children aged 4 and below. 

School Photos

The production process for your child(ren)'s photos starts next week, if you have not confirmed your order it is urgent that you do it for your child by Monday the 21st of February 2022. Click here to confirm your order and  to approve  the production  of your child's photo.

Discovery Sports Day

 Our Discovery Sports Day is coming up next month so mark Saturday 12th March on your calendars and be ready for a parent race or two! 

Discovery T-shirts (for students)

On 12th March for our Discovery Sports Day,  your child will need a Discovery t-shirt. If you do not have one you can order one here (as well as masks and replacement pick-up cards). Click here for the order form:

Late Pick-Up Fees

Please note that from Monday February 28th we will be enforcing fines for those who are more than 30 minutes late to pick their children. Half-day dismissal is 12:30 so fines will be issued from 13:01. Full day dismissal is 16:00 so fines will be issued from 16:31, or 13.45 on Tuesdays.

 Fines are 15,000 RWF after the 31st minute and an extra 25,000 RWF fine every hour past the first hour. You will have 24hrs to pay the fines once issued. Help us keep the school functioning well by respecting one another's time. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
