When you Respond to a work of art, you provide helpful feedback to its artist:
What do you like?
What ideas would you recommend for the work of art?
Response Tips
Avoid using judgment words such as "beautiful" or "ugly"
Describe the work - elements, technical qualities
Analyze the work - how does it work as a whole?
Describe how the work makes you feel.
Evaluate the work - does it serve its purpose well? What improvements could be made?
