Inspiration: Projects: Choice Project

What do you dream to do? Or, what will you choose to do? Create something. And evaluate how you did.

Questions

  • How would you evaluate your own artwork?

What am I making?

How do I make it?

  • Use resources you have available. This website is a starting point. The choice form has some links. You can do your own search. There are plenty of video tutorials out there, especially on YouTube.

Steps

You get 2 class periods to work on this project. It could be bigger than that. All you're expected to do is about 2 hours of work outside of class. If you don't finish, evaluate what you were able to accomplish, and you can finish it later.

  1. Determine your Project Idea. Use the form, Luke!

  2. On Google Sites, under Pages, create a new page called Choice Project.

  3. Insert a Text Box, and copy and paste your last 2 answers from the form (My Goal and My Standards)

  4. Research and Learn More about how you will do your project. Videos on sites like YouTube can help.

  5. Do the project. Until either you finish or it's time to submit something to show your progress. (Of course, you can continue working on it later!)

  6. Make an image or video containing the work you created.

  7. Evaluate your Progress. How satisfied are you with what you created? What do you like? What would you change? What did you learn in the process?

  8. When done, push the Publish button, review the settings, and publish.

  9. Then click the chain-link button, Copy the link for your page, and turn in the link.
