I definitely learned a lot in this course. This subject encourages us to think beyond the text and appreciate different lifestyles, concepts, and ways of thinking around the world. Through the various assignments, I was able to gain a better understanding of what other cultures really encompass and how great it is to expand your horizons through knowledge. I really enjoyed learning how something as simple as a color or a song can completely change its very essence between languages and cultures. As translators, these lessons are essential to our work, and I will definitely apply them to my future achievements and endeavors.
