D-day has come! DIPS students have made robots that could collect trash, can put out fires, and can even project words that you want to say for your loved ones finally last Monday, they have the opportunity to present their ideas to their teachers at the KX Fablab, Bangkok. For the whole month of October, these students have been working on this project and along the way, they have been learning and gaining new skills such as creativity and innovation.
The students worked hard on their project as they tried their best to design and make their unique robots that tell others about their creativity and personality. At the start of the month, they learned to use Rhino 3D and Adobe Illustration to be able to sketch their ideas digitally which would help them later on with their final product. They were able to create those robots with the help of machinery they were able to use at the KX Fablab which was the 3D printer and laser cutting machine which they have learned to use. With all the skills they have learned you can see that these students have worked hard to be able to create their final product, their working robots.
All in all, these students, although it was hard on their first try, had fun learning and designing their robots. The hard work and effort they had put in for this project were worth it for them when they saw the final design of their robots and how it is working like how they wanted it to work. They are so proud to be able not only to gain new skills but also to have faith in themselves and gain the courage to believe that they can create something impossible and unimaginable as future designers.
Their robots are worth checking out~!
