Tracking and Ensuring Graduation Success
Tracking and Ensuring Graduation Success
BMC does not merely facilitate women's entry into higher education; it is systematically committed to ensuring their successful completion. The institution meticulously tracks and monitors student progress.
Women at BMC are not only persisting but are excelling. In the 2024/2025 academic year, women consistently demonstrated high completion rates across all programs, often matching or exceeding those of their male counterparts. For instance, in the Medicine & Surgery program, the female completion rate was 93.9%, nearly identical to the male rate of 93.6%. In programs like Physical Therapy, the female completion rate was an exceptional 97.4%.
This success is not accidental. It is the direct result of schemes implemented to close any potential attainment gap, including the proactive support systems previously mentioned: the Counseling Unit, the Preparatory Year Wellness Program, academic advising, and targeted workshops on stress management and exam anxiety. By systematically tracking this data and implementing these robust support schemes, BMC ensures that its commitment to gender equality is realized in the ultimate metric of success: graduation.
