Todestriebe is the drive towards death and destruction. Characteristics are aggression, repetition compulsion and self-desctruction. It is part of the Freudian Psychoanalysis theory. In class, we discussed that one of the things that make us humans is our will and drive to live.  But some of us want to die and act in a self-destructive way.077643
