Daphne Varekamp

Hi there - I am Daphne Raphaella Caroline Varekamp. Let's start with a fun fact; my parents met in medical school and they thought it would be funny to start my first two names with "D" and "R" so my initials would make me a doctor before I was even born. Jokes on them, I studied design. User Experience Design to be exact. I did this extremely nearby at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, this is also the city where I was born and raised. I actually studied at Leiden University before. In 2018 I did Computer Science right here in the exact same buildings, however I was missing some creativity in this field. 

In my free time I play waterpolo and I enjoy listening to metal music. My greatest source of inspiration is my pet tortoise Leonardo and I have a weird obsession with the color red and roses.
