A matter of taste

Tessel wrote about how handy it would be if a robot could do the cooking. For that to work, it probably needs a sense of taste. Tessel specifically described saltiness. 

I thought this idea of taste was really cool because it is something personal to the individual and goes beyond basic human instinct. Even as babies, we already have food that we like and dislike.

The visuals of a baby not accepting some type of food really stuck with me, and I think it would be cool if we could make a robot that also denies or spits out certain types of food.
