Ingredients:
For the Baked Sriracha Ribs:
2 pounds pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup Sriracha sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
For the Chinese Noodles:
8 ounces Chinese egg noodles or your favorite noodles
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, grated
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot, julienned
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Ribs:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Season the ribs with salt and pepper on both sides and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
2. Make the Sriracha Sauce:
In a bowl, combine Sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Mix well.
3. Bake the Ribs:
Brush the Sriracha sauce mixture generously over the ribs. Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.
In the last 30 minutes of baking, remove the foil and baste the ribs with additional sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) to caramelize the sauce, baking uncovered.
4. Cook the Noodles:
While the ribs are baking, cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
5. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
6. Combine Noodles and Sauce:
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
7. Serve:
Once the ribs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Cut the ribs into portions and arrange them on a serving plate alongside the stir-fried noodles.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
